Centering

When the news is as appalling as it has been for the last two years, it's easy to become agitated and unfocused...at least, I find it's easy for me.

That's one of the reasons I canceled my cable and various magazine subscriptions (that was hard, I love me some magazines!). Too much wasted time, money, and too much wasted angst over the situations in the world.

Now I peruse different news sites on the web, pray for the souls that I am moved to pray for, and take action on those things that I can -- such as writing a letter, sending a donation, or what have you.

The rest I leave to God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

This helps me to "center down" and remember Who exactly is "...everywhere present, and fills all things."
The One Who is the "...treasury of blessings, and the Giver of Life."
The One Whom we ask to "...come and abide in us, cleanse us from all impurities..."
The Good One Who will "...save our souls."

As I said in an earlier post on this blog, beauty will save the world.

And that Beauty is the perfection of the Holy Trinity.

Oh Lord, save us!
