Ah, yes...the old duck and cover routine.
Living in flyover country, as a kid I had nightmares that conflated atomic bombs and tornadoes. A radioactive tornado with learing eyes and sharp-toothed maw is pretty terrifying to a kid. I would wake up shaking if I had one of those nightmares now.
Anyhoo....This is pretty good advice. I typically am more 'on guard' around national holidays, such as Memorial Day and especially Independence Day, (oh, and 9/11 every year) since the symbolism is too hard to ignore.
I never hurts to 'up' your preparedness. And pray to God you never need it.
Lord have mercy on us all.
