As we've known all along, Egypt's uprising was never about freedom, it was about tightening the screws. If there were freedom-lovers there, they were only used by the the Muslim Brotherhood and other leftist groups.

I think the blogger is saying only Christians like freedom.
When the Muslim Brotherhood got involved - and now are poised to win a majority in the elections - it seemed evident to me that the people of Egypt will be a worse position than before.
