Heat

It got very hot last week here in flyover country.

My electronic temperature gauge told me it was 99F in the shade last Wednesday.
So I threw the thing out into the sun. A few moments later the read out was 124F.

After a thunderstorm roared through, the temp plummeted to a mere 72F. Almost jacket weather.

Today it's only 83  -- in the shade. Susie the WonderDog was able to enjoy the back yard this morning. Good thing, since playing 'fetch' in the house is not the kindest thing to do to a hardwood floor...
