Godchild

My beloved and I were asked to be Godparents to a sweet little girl, all of six years old.

Of her own volition, she asked her "Papa" (grandfather) to take her to Church with him. She loves coming to Church.

She and I hit it off, created a bond.

Our sweet girl will be baptized today. God is glorified.

What a heavy and beautiful burden, to be a Godparent.

May the Lord, who loves mankind, be merciful to us all.
