Button trees
I am crazy about buttons.
And Christmas decorations make me deliciously happy.
Unfortunately, the employment I have does not leave a lot of time for Christmas preparation, decoration, or celebration. The fourth quarter of the year is the busiest for the company.
If only I had time to make these... [girlish squeal...] ahem. Oooh, look at the pink wreath in the background! sorry...

Thankful
I am thankful for many things this year.
The years from 2005 through 2010 were very difficult ones for me and my family. Illnesses, deaths, moves, employment woes -- we've experienced them all.
This year has seen something of a respite from all that, for which we are all truly grateful to God, and thankful for His mercy, grace and kindness.
