Climate Change

This is not an attempt to curb “climate change.” America will still be mining coal and then exporting it. The coal will be burned, just not inside our borders. How does that combat “climate change?” Well, it doesn’t. The EPA’s sole goal is to cripple America. Nowhere has the Precrime idea been more successful than with drinking and driving. There was a time when driving while intoxicated was much like hate crimes are now, an additional charge to an actual offense, but a charge which welded guilt to the accused. Then there came a time when property damage or injury or death wasn't required, any infraction was enough to incur the additional charge, why wait until innocents are injured or killed? 

Then driving while intoxicated was the crime, discovered not through any overt act but with highway checkpoints and mandatory breath and blood tests. Next driving itself wasn't even required, merely being in your car sleeping it off in the passenger seat was enough. There isn't so much as an event, much less a crime. The principle is clear, Precrime prosecution needn't concern itself with an actual act, nor even with intent. Some may say this is overthinking it, but why wait until innocents are injured or killed by drunks sleeping in their car?

It’s a good idea to buy year’s supply of oatmeal in January (or February for National Hot Breakfast Month). If you under calculate how much oatmeal your family will eat, don’t worry. Oatmeal will go on sale again in September for National Better Breakfast Month.

January is also the month to stock up on tea and canned soups. You can usually find these deeply discounted.

Keep an eye on the meat sales. If you have a pressure canner, set aside some time to put up meat.

By the time I left the Hive, whatever had once bound me to it had long since frayed away. The upward pace of a "career" seemed more and more like a pointless marathon, a mere job. Long days spent striving to "exceed corporate goals" came to resemble a game of pick-up-sticks played with cows. Efforts to save an enterprise that one didn't own came down to admitting that the enterprise had no intrinsic worth other than maintaining the vulgar lifestyle of an aging monomaniac who could no longer reason his way through two and two to four. It all combined into a vast cloud of wind-spun detritus that obscured the plain and simple fact that while government employees were working 24 hours a day printing more money, nobody anywhere was printing more time.

And so, at last, "Man, you gotta go."

That someone at the county level thought this was acceptable boggles my mind.

However, there are a few entertainers who are such blatant shills for the abortion industry that I as a pro-lifer feel obligated to deny them my money and attention. Here are just a few. I’m putting them in ascending order from least to greatest in terms of how much they annoy me, but rest assured they are all deeply annoying.
